Here is a little bit about me!

 

I just graduated from JMU, The Greatest University on Earth. I was there from 2010-2014 obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, where I focused on Science and Social Studies for Middle School Education. One week after I graduated, I began graduate classes (also at JMU) and have now since graduated with a M.A.T for Middle School Education.

 

While at JMU, I played Trombone in the Marching Royal Dukes. It was the highlight of my college experience, and when we marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade my senior year, that was simply the icing on the cake!

 

When I wasn't at JMU, I tended to be at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center in my hometown of Front Royal, Virginia. I've spent 12 summers there, so it really is my home away from home. Working on Camp Staff completely changed my life! Being a Staffer is what convinced me to be a middle school teacher.
