In this unit we will be learning about Cells!

The student will investigate and understand that all living things are composed of cells. Key concepts include
a) cell structure and organelles;
b) similarities and differences between plant and animal cells;
c) development of cell theory; and
d) cell division
HOMEWORK HELP
Students are expected to complete their homework to the best of their ability every evening. If a student has attempted their homework, but it still struggling, they are welcome to come to my classroom between 8:00 and 8:30 before homeroom. I am willing to assist them during that time with any homework help they might need. Because of this policy, I expect homework to always be completed, either at home, or in my classroom before school.
GREEN TEAM
The Green Team meets every Tuesday. We are responsible for collecting the schools recyclables and maintaing the school composting system. We also give 2 assemblies over the school year to educate students about going green. Students participate in 2 fundraisers and 2 field trips per year. We love new members!
